Job Overview

We are seeking vigilant and professional Event Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and venue premises during events. The ideal candidate will play a key role in crowd management, access control, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. This position requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively in dynamic, fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals gain access
• Conduct bag checks and verify tickets, credentials, or identification as required
• Manage crowd flow and maintain order during events to prevent overcrowding or disturbances
• Patrol assigned areas to identify and address safety hazards or suspicious behavior
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or guest concerns
• Enforce event policies, venue rules, and safety regulations at all times
• Provide clear directions and assistance to guests to ensure a positive event experience
• Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate effectively with supervisors
• Work collaboratively with event staff, management, and emergency services when required

Experience

• Previous experience in event security, customer service, or related fields is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure or crowded environments
• Good observational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic security procedures and crowd control practices
• Valid security guard licence, smart serve certification and CPR
